Anyway, run all the way west through Thousand Needles until you see green. Run down the road from the Great Lift until you reach the main road where you must go either left or right. Whee! You can get these recipes from the generic master leatherworking trainer in aerie peak (for alliance, not sure about horde).Ĭommentaire de veetoOk, sharing my maths so it hopefully saves others some time on their Ally alt.Kommentar von ThottbotAlright, I've notice that many of these comments are from Alliance players, so maybe I can help us Horde.Īt this level, you should know where the Great Lift is in Thousand Needles, so let's start there. So far, I've spent 2 hours and a 1/2 lvl near feathermoon, killing & skinning wolves.

My math is a tad bit rusty, but a rough estimate for all of this stuff is 192 thick leather & 112 turtle scales, plus thread & hides.

To complete the wild leather line before you waste the time flying to feralas (ugh), you'll need: Since I just ran my little dwarfy butt out there and can't get the main Tribal quest, it seems like the 5 quests from the leatherworking vendor are requisite. So, the question is: do you want to make items to sell or items for personal benefit? I would guess that rogues provide the largest specialized market (Elemental) and hunters the second but farming for materials increases the difficulty of the DS area (none are easy materials to get).Ĭommentaire de AllakhazamI'm not sure whether the tribal line can be taken up without completing the quests to get the patterns for these items. The really good items for all LW require Friendly, Honored or Revered with some faction (Timbermaw, Zandalar, Argent Dawn or Cenarion Circle). Of course, all leatherworkers can make the Scorpid (mail) armor - the majority of LW items remain open for all. Tribal also has some good stuff for rogues but primarily benefits the druids. Elemental has some good stuff but is primarily focused on rogue benefits. Of course, mail armor falls under the Dragonscale area (duh!) - primarily for Hunters.

Feel free to add any armor I forgot which i am sure I forgot a few.Ĭommentaire de ThottbotHere's what I've found in looking at the three areas of leatherworking: Hope this answers most of the questions that I know I had. You can also make some money making the ironfeather set because the drop on the breast is a pain not too many people have it so you can sell a set or two a week on a good pop server. pretty much if youa re looking to make money you will pump out devilsaur items as there are an icredibly high number of rogues and almost all of them want a devil set. Wolfshead Helm-> useless helm unless you are a hardcore feral druid. gives agility, stam, and 24 fire resist making them awesome boots for rogues in MC/Onyxia perfect for any healer.Ĭorehound boots-> Hard to get recipe from MC.

increases healing and gives int and stam. Hide of the Wild-> This is an awesome epic cloak that takes a LOT of hard to get/expensive mats. Warbear woolies and harnes-> gives great strength and stamina, but kinda disappointing armor. Ironfeather breastplate and shoulders (THIS IS A 2 PIECE SET)-> some of the best armor for casting druids till Wildheart.įrostsaber boots, gloves, chest, and legs-> gives resist to frost and shadow.Ĭhimeric boots, gloves, chest, and legs-> gives resist to arcane and nature. better than elemental stormshroud for "most" rogues. I have been a 300 tribal for a while and have most of them, except the new DM recipes.ĭevilsaur legs and gauntlets(THIS IS A 2 PIECE SET)-> some of the best armor for rogues. Commentaire de ThottbotSo just off the top of my head here are the recipes you can learn with tribal.
